Inspired by digital low-poly modelling and traditional metal fabrication techniques, each sculpture is reduced to intersecting planes that catch light differently from every angle.

At South Coast Metal Fabrication (SCMF), we design and hand-fabricate bespoke geometric metal sculptures in our Brighton workshop. Working with folded steel, corten, copper and brass, we transform raw metal into bold, faceted forms that capture light, shadow and texture, creating sculptures that feel alive from every angle.
Unlike mass-produced or imported decorative pieces, every sculpture we make is fabricated in the UK from raw material. Each form is cut, welded and finished by hand, allowing precise control over proportion, surface quality and structural integrity. This bespoke approach ensures every piece has real weight, presence and individuality.
Our work ranges from geometric wildlife sculptures, including foxes, deer and elephants, to abstract shapes and architectural forms. Each sculpture is custom-made for its setting, whether for private gardens, schools, public spaces or private collections, ensuring it sits naturally within its environment while sparking curiosity and emotional response.
Material choice plays a central role in every design. Corten steel develops a natural, evolving patina over time, adding depth and character outdoors. Polished brass and copper catch and reflect light, bringing warmth and contrast, while steel provides strength and durability for both exterior installations and larger-scale works.
