Metal Finish Samples

This page showcases a range of metal finish samples produced by South Coast Metal Fabrication, including brushed and polished stainless steel, brass, mild steel, powder coated finishes, and aged or patinated metal surfaces. These examples are intended to demonstrate the types of metal finishes and surface treatments we can achieve for bespoke metal fabrication projects, such as worktops, bar fronts, cladding, shelving and architectural features. Please note that metal finishes can look different in photographs due to lighting conditions, reflections and screen settings, and natural variation is part of the process, particularly with aged and patinated finishes. For this reason, we always recommend approving physical metal samples prior to final fabrication to ensure colour, tone and texture meet expectations.

PHYSICAL SAMPLE APPROVAL

Metal finishes can appear significantly different depending on lighting, reflections and screen settings. Hand-applied patination also contains natural variation.

For decorative metalwork, we therefore recommend approving a physical control sample before production. This establishes the intended colour, texture and level of finish against which the completed work can be assessed.
