THE BRIEF
SCMF was commissioned to fabricate bespoke display pieces for the Adidas flagship store on Carnaby Street, London.
The project used visual references associated with New York City, including replica NYC-style trash cans alongside custom display tables incorporating white subway-tiled surfaces.

DEVELOPMENT
The supplied design intent was translated into practical fabricated components suitable for use within a busy flagship retail environment.
Particular attention was given to reproducing the distinctive appearance of the New York-style trash cans and integrating the different materials used within the display furniture.

FABRICATION
The display tables were fabricated using black steel box-section frames with steel mesh detailing, providing the structure for contrasting white subway-tiled surfaces.
SCMF also fabricated replica New York City-style trash cans as part of the wider retail concept, creating distinctive metal display elements specifically for the Carnaby Street installation.

RESULT
The completed pieces formed part of the interior of Adidas's Carnaby Street flagship store, combining fabricated industrial details with the tiled surfaces and New York-inspired visual language of the retail concept.
