The Brief
SCMF was commissioned to manufacture a suite of freestanding wayfinding signs for the Arsenal Emirates Stadium Tour.
The project comprised 28 single and double-sided signs designed to provide clear visitor information throughout the tour while allowing the displayed content to be changed when required. Along with 75+ display panels that slotted on
Technical Development
The signs incorporated interchangeable display panels, allowing information and wayfinding graphics to be updated without replacing the complete fabricated structure.
With 28 units required across both single and double-sided configurations, consistency between the individual signs was an important consideration throughout manufacture.

Fabrication
Each sign was fabricated from folded 5mm aluminium to create a robust freestanding structure while keeping the individual units relatively lightweight.
Following fabrication, the signs were sent for specialist powder coating before returning to the SCMF workshop, where the final vinyl graphics were applied in-house.
The interchangeable panel system was incorporated across the range, allowing the finished signs to be updated as the requirements of the stadium tour changed.
Finished Result
A total of 28 completed wayfinding signs were supplied for use throughout the Arsenal Emirates Stadium Tour.
The finished system combined durable fabricated aluminium structures with replaceable display panels and applied graphics, creating a consistent family of signage designed for repeated use within a busy visitor environment.
